Little old lady believes the average gas price is $1.98 a gallon. Can't imagine how she ever came up with that number. Can't decide if I'm sad or angry watching this.

Thought Trump said this 2 days ago, was rattling off his imaginary accomplishments: "Eggs are down, way down, grocery is down, and Gas is $1.98 a gallon".
Anyway, Jacksonville, the birthplace of Ronnie Van Zant, Fred Durst, and probably Yosemite Sam. It is a special place.

And then runs off saying gas is down to $1.98 a gallon, when in fact the national average is $3.17 a gallon.

And ######### believe him. $2.66 a gallon is the lowest state average in the US. And that's Alabama, and in all of Alabama I'm sure Trump found his $1.98 station. ####, he probably paid the guy $5,000 to drop the price to that for one day.

I thought he was quoting the wholesale price at $1.98 which as of today is at $2.02.
And is down, way down from January.
On the flip side, lower gas prices worry me.

heck, even I was giving him the benefit of the doubt, that he found SOME gas station with $1,98 gas. But nope, there are none.
Checking GasBuddy.com, which tracks gas prices at individual stations across the country, we found no station in the U.S. offering gasoline at $1.98 per gallon.

My gas is not $1.98 a gallon but it’s not unusual for politicians to present the best case outlier. However, if you only call out one politician from one party for something both parties do on the regular, you are part of the problem.

Gas price is dependent upon where one lives to a large extent.Blue State gas taxes are high, refineries near, pipelines, trucking costs etc.
You think they refine magic oil in France to get $5.50 a gallon gas?
