The opening drive by the Majpr was super. That also was ALL he did for the rest of the game. Tiger D was magnificent

Current LB's aren't at that level though.***

I know the game has changed alot, but man does that defense

Sep 26, 2016, 2:27 PM

look big and quick. Linebackers are ridiculous. How do they compare to size/speed of current defense? I love our defense, coach, and we have tremendous athletes. Just wonder how they would compare. They look sick. What an awesome heritage our defense has. Here's to keeping up the tradition. Go Tigers, let's spend a good bit of time in Louisville's backfield Saturday night!

We have had some great teams the last few years but...

Sep 26, 2016, 2:38 PM

we had a number of teams back then that were better in my opinion. However, it was frustrating back then if we ever got down by 14. Offensive styles just could not strike quick like today. That just didn't happen too often.

Had great seats at that game. How many from that D played on

Sundays? Wish we had that LB speed and talent in our starters. Some of our younger ones may approach that in the future.

Brings back a lot of memories. I had just turned 8 years old, and was at the game with my dad. I still remember him telling me not to worry after WVU's first drive, that we were in good position and would be just fine. Like so many things, he was right.
