Still unsure of what Brad's future is if we don't see improvement this year but recruiting has definitely picked up the last two years. That's the third four star guy flanked by 3 very solid three stars and a good bet on an athletic developmental guy in Trapp

that can win some of close games we've lost over the past few years. Not top 10 territory or anything, but looks like the kind of players that can make the dance. A solid step in the right direction. Just hope it's not too late for Brownell.

That will be enough to keep him around a season or two. I've always said and I believe that Brad in a good college BB coach, but it's bc he spent the majority of his career coaching in the smaller programs and hasn't made a name for himself. I'm hoping that he will do that at Clemson, and if he does, I'm hoping that he will be grateful enough to stick around and help Clemson to become one of the top programs in the ACC....

Nor do they offer academic scholarships.
"Ivy League schools provide financial aid to students, including athletes, only on the basis of financial need as determined by each institution's Financial Aid Office."
That said, we all know that Clemson is the Harvard of the South!!!

seems like a good kid but the offer list is as weak as it's been for most basketball recruits the last few years. I've checked the recruiting services and I see nothing that makes me think this is a banner day for Clemson basketball. Vandy, TAM, UAB, Auburn, AL....that won't get us to the next level of the ACC. Flame away but this has been Brownell's problem for years and I don't see anything different. Hope I'm wrong and will gladly eat crow.

GT, Oklahoma State, Vandy, Maryland, Stanford, etc. Those are all great offers. We may not be landing entire recruiting classes of top-100 guys like half the ACC, but this is a step in the right direction and a great pick up. He's a 4* on Rivals and ESPN. 247 has him just outside the top 150 at 161.
You gotta build something first before being able to nationally recruit. Just a few years ago we were beating out teams like Charlotte and Western Carolina for guys, this is definitely a step in the right direction. Brownell appears to be making some headway in the SE in SEC country to pull guys looking to play in the ACC. Great strategy IMO.

This is big time recruiting for Brownell plus, this is what can happen to programs when they make adjustments with staff changes. Check for D-RAD, for laying it on the line with Brad in what he had to do if he wanted to keep his job as Clemson's head basketball coach. And it could also be the beginning of our BB program becoming a threat to the likes of tobacco road and compete for elite players, that would be awesome. We have Dabo on top with our FB program, I can see Monte Lee getting our baseball program back on top. Now if Brad can some way get our basketball program to becoming competitive in the NCAA, we could become a threat in the three major college sports. I think that when a small school can be competitive and compete at the top in the three major sports, that is bad A$S!!!
