So glad we won BUT we looked like a third rate basketball program, yes the mopping of the floor. There were times player fell on the floor. So our mop girl goes over to wipe up the moisture with a mop attached to a wooden stick designed to sweep dust and dirt and not one designed to absorb moisture. There were a few a close up shots on tv and that mop that gal had was definitely not made to what she was asking it to do. So the Dukes mop boys , two of them mind you, jump off the dukes team bench, run to the wet spot AFTER our girl does her job and they proceed to hand mop with absorbing towels while they are on their hands and knees. They were mopping behind her all night long. That was embarrassing.

So what I'm hearing is we aren't adequately funding the basketball program if we don't even have decent materials to do the job....

FIRE BROWNELL NOW FOR ALLOWING THIS 😤😤😤

But really - what gives? Sounds like something that shouldn't be a thing at a major D1 school.
