I do recall Clemson did it last season at Cootville. I understand it is viewed as disrespectful by some, but win the game and you won't need to worry about something like this. To be charged with a felony for planting a flag in the stadium is overkill.

It was totally uncalled for, dumb. If not for the terrible look and complete chaos, maybe this is not happening....but it did, and something needs to be done.
Do Not Plant a Stupid Flag in your opponents stadium, easy as that. The head coach of the team that plants the flag on another teams field "should" be suspended for 1 game. Lack on control, should not ever happen.
It is really just dumb.

they also started doing it in 2024 but there was a skirmish and the scar flag got pulled away
no media coverage of it , but i sure as heck saw it happen

On the other hand if the maximum sized flag allowed is 4x6 inches…..maybe no ban is needed. 🤪

And if you can't do that, how about running your program with a HC and AD to stops this kind of stuff rather than condoning it in your post game presser.

States on day of game. Teams will sneak in and plant it the day before or after. He worded it wrong if he wants it banned. Should state no planting of flag at center or any other part of playing field at anytime. Don’t expect much more from a dumb a$$ in a public office of any type.

Or maybe the head coaches could act like men and tell the kids "Hey, wanna plant a flag? Go ahead - have a ball. It's what comes after that you might not enjoy so much."
