seeding has been done in the past. People wonder why teams don’t drop in the polls when they lose midweek games. It’s because none of this is best on best not is motivation the same. If we aren’t a national seed it’s because the committee already had us out of that group prior due to WF sweep and other series loss. Not what happened in an exhibition tourney with a 3 pitcher vs a 1.

If Clemson bunts to 3rd base in the 8th, the Tigers tie the game on the wild pitch. If Garris stays in the game, there may not have been the HR in the bottom of the 8th. Then the HR in the top of the 9th gives Clemson the lead. Bunting to first base was not smart.

I would say Virginia has positioned themselves to take the other ACC national host opportunity if they beat FSU and get to the conference final. UNC is already a lock. Clemson has stubbled to finish this year (opposite of last year).

Darden gave up 6 in 1 1/3 and the bullpen held them to 2 runs the rest of the game. We hit a lot of balls hard right at them today and theirs found holes. Couple that with some bad situational hitting and you lose. Its baseball. We are still. 6 seed regardless of what happened today. Every higher seed in the SEC tournament has lost as well.

Yes but in the SEC even sub 500 conference teams are getting bids to the NCAAT. Miami isn’t going farther without winning the ACCT.

No Clemson is not a top 8. The people behind us currently are still in the tournament and will rise. Regardless of outcome Clemson will be a 9-10 seed. Which is fine because I would be surprised if we make it out of a regional anyway. Pitching will not hold up.
