Clemson's "Sons" game......alumni game

By looking at some of the pics, I guess they let anybody play that ever put on a practice jersey. Funny seeing the short half bald fat white guy trying to run the ball. Fyi, that looks like John Thompson who attempted to play in 96-98. He was like a 4th string fullback who never saw the field but of course thought he was an all-star! Lol. I guess he finally got to play 20 yrs later. Lol!!!!

I wish I had been good enough to be on the practice squad, maybe with a possibility of dressing for a game. Man what thrill that would have been.

These comments are funny! I'm really entertained today. Doesn't take much to get a few wanna he's feathers ruffled. Yes I did play, no I'm not disgruntled, yes I started yrs.didn't play sat cause knee surgeries, not in info cause that was 20 yrs ago. I just thought the kid was a prick and got a big laugh out of th e pic. Not trying dis my school, besides I sweated and bled for Clemson, more than most of u ever dreamed of. This is a message board folks, if ur to sensitive to read it then stay off.

Not throwing rocks at you dude. I envy anyone that strapped on that Tiger Paw, and ran down The Hill. I'm not a wannabe, I'm a neverwuz. That being said; I have no right to criticize anyone, that did play, whether he was an All American or rode the bench. I'm proud of all The Tigers.

I came up with a great idea for the sons game.

Try lure in just a few bigger names. Maybe some recent grads who were popular but not playing at any next level. Then charge regular folks some god awful amount of money to get to play with those guys. If people do that fantasy camp, they certainly would do this.
Make a rule where some non-former player has to catch/run the ball at least once per set of downs.

Put Lee Brice in and let him score a TD. If hootie the bull frog can do it, so can Lee Brice.

Judging by your name you are not a country music fan, and I'm guessing Lee Brice is C&W.

I've always been a classic rock guy, but I like some of Willie's stuff. I don't really know a whole lot about Lee Brice except that I believe he was a former Tiger Football player.

Plenty of awesome stuff on youtube. Check out original stuff and the covers of songs you probably. know. You'll find yourself wanting to be at their show in Raleigh, 4/16, Charlotte 4/17, Myrtle Beach 4/18, Columbia 4/22, or Charleston 4/23. Or you aren't local so none of those make any sense trying to go to.

It's been many moons since I braved a live concert. I think I'm too old for it. my son still loves to do that stuff though. I'll pass the info along to him. We're not that far from Charlotte and we're about 60 miles from the beach.
