There will be a different Miami team in Charlotte

One thing to keep in mind is the Miami team we watched beat VT and ND had something they haven't had in a long time - a packed home team stadium that was cheering loud and giving them energy they were able to feed off of. Might not seem like a huge deal to us, but for 18-22 year old players that might think they are invincible one minute and incapable of doing anything right the next, a lot of it comes from confidence or doubt within. The more they have an electric crowd behind them feeding their egos, they are thinking a lot less and trusting their guts more. When that energy is absent or turns against them, the thinking part comes back and that's when they make more mistakes or are a little more flat footed.
We all know Miami fans will not travel more than 10 minutes to watch their team, so I feel that atmosphere and energy will be completely in our favor for the ACC Championship. I would be surprised if Miami is even able to fill their friends and family seats for a game that is located hundreds of miles away.
The same Clemson team we seem to be concerned about now was dismantling Louisville and VT on the road earlier this season and had a defense that was manhandling the team that just blew out the #1 team in the country. I would actually see it as a good thing we are winning ugly, because it reminds our players how vulnerable every team is and to not take any team for granted from here on out. Just like us, Miami will return to Earth soon - hopefully before Dec 2nd.

Last season when fans were complaining about the mistakes and ugly wins, Dabo commented,"This ain't no beauty pageant! All you have to do is score one point more than your opponent." So true! Improvements are certainly needed and the team has injuries that will hopefully heal soon. We are 9 and 1 and that is a record to be proud of!

Miami fans may just travel better when their team is undefeated. I expect a large contingent of U fans in Charlotte.

Their toughest road game so far was at Duke, maybe? They struggled to put away UNC and FSU, a lot of people don't realize how weak their schedule has been up until now.
