There is too much talent on this roster to be down

35 to 7 to anyone. It has to be coaching and schemes.

There's a lot of players with a lot of recruiting stars, but I don't see a lot of talent in some spots.

We've had a string of busts at WR. Shipley is ok, but a huge step down from Etienne (as almost anybody would be) and honestly, I would much rather have Gallman with his blocking. Shipley seems a lot better than he is because of who's around him for comparison and our level of competition.

Poor Bresee has suffered greek-level tragedy this season. This team needed him to be that monster in the middle. Got to have one of those guys if you want to beat these big, physical teams like OSU, UGA, ND.

DJ is a bust. Just slow, physically and in decision making. Too soon to say about Klubnik, but we should move on from DJ now and find out.

This is a good team, not a great team. Probably a 15-20 ranking is right. Beating the coots and winning the ACC would be a good season for this group.

String of busts at WR is spot on.

Williams will be a great one, but I don't think I am as high on Randall yet as Dabo, who claims he is the second coming of Calvin Johnson if you listen to him....LOL.

Defense is an entirely different story - Barrett, Simpson, Murphy, Mukuba, Henry, Wiggins, Davis, and Trotter - plenty more talent than Stanford or Marshall.

Heck, Bresee is suffering from a momently bad year, but I bet ND would take him!! We have plenty of talent on defense. This is why I am NOT sold on Wes. I think he's awful.

You know I haven’t heard Dabo say “the best is still to come” in a couple of years. I think that’s because the best has already come. And gone. It was a fun ride but until there are some significant staff changes this is our new ceiling. We have zero chance of competing with the elite programs of the SEC and. Big 10. He has made such a mess with the staff with multiple terrible hires, especially on the offense it will take several years to fix it. Coaching changes result in loss of recruits for a year or two so just be prepared. It won’t be a long quick fix.

Yep. We all get excited about recruits but who was the last skill position player who came in here and outperformed their recruiting ranking? Meanwhile, most of them have ranged from very disappointing to nonexistent.
