you're like very nervous about this one i'd recommend not watching as much news ... btw hurricanes from Tallahassee hooking left to Nashville aren't the ones that are that bad for us .

The field does drain extremely well. I was in Tiger band and can say for first hand experience Clemson has the highest crown of any field in the ACC. You can’t see the feet of folks on the opposite bench.

like it used to be 15-20+ years ago.
New drainage system much like Augusta National was put in when field was leveled. One of best in country.

I went to the Masters on Saturday 2023. A complete washout but the drainage system was amazing. That’s for the update. I graduated in 1982 😀

The Augusta National has a SubAir system that sucks the water out of the greens soil profile to keep them firm. I think they have installed in on some fairway crossings to keep them from getting sloppy. That same system is used in some baseball parks, like Schwab Field, and I think Braves stadium. Although the Clemson field was built with underground drainage and a sandy topmix for great water percolation, I do not think SunAir, or a similar system, was installed. I could be wrong if someone knows for sure.

The field has a drainage system like Augusta national and can drain this unless the water gets too high in the ponds and canals...maybe some of the best turf in football...keeps injuries down!
