It seems from the additions from the transfer portal that players ( and other coaches as well) that know a LOT more about basketball than some of the ignorant fans we have really have respect for Coach Brownell and our program. I love Clemson in all sports but we really have a pretty stupid fan base where basketball is concerned.

I mean, with all this talent coming in, he’d have to really, REALLY, suck to not make it, right?? And would definitely deserve to be fired, right?

By the way, I do not hate Brad Brownell. Although you are obviously driven by your hatred of those who think Clemson needs to make a change. Not that we should expect much from someone that thinks our problem isn’t coaching but rather some supernatural curse, for Pete’s sake.

The mediocrity is well established. The hate becomes more well established with each passing mediocre season.
And yes, Judge, last year WAS a mediocre season, by the only measuring stick that matters, which is making the NCAA Tournament. Just because the whole ACC is sliding down to Brad Brownell's level does not mean that Brad Brownell is improving as a coach.

Brownell sucks! He is the Frank Martin of Clemson. A sorry coach who has been here forever and hasn’t achieved crap. I don’t care what your “people who know more about basketball” have to say about anything. I know statistics better than your basketball geniuses and I’m smarter than they are. Statistics say Brownell is an average coach who hasn’t achieved any tournament success at Clemson. He needs to go!

We would be stupid fans if we listened to some opposing coach instead of acknowledging what our own eyes clearly see. Every other couch in the country aught to like Brownell, especially Moorehead state's coach. He really increases their chance of a win in the first round of the NIT. Boy he's a good one. He's going to take us places. We might win the NIT if we keep him long enough. Just hang on to him.
