Almost all of the qbs who entered the portal have already chosen a school. About all that’s left is Joe Milton from OSU and the head case from Miami, Tate Martell.

No help from transfers! All the good ones want a promise of the starting job.
Hunter can manage a game. He had some good throws on Saturday, and last year.
To win the Natty or beat Georgia, we need a healthy DJ5. No backup is likely to pull that off.
Dabo will definitely have quality back-ups QB's ready for 2021.
Before 2018, we had 6 QB's in January. After Kelly Bryant quit we were thinner that this year.
We won it all with Trevor in 2018, just like we can do this year with DJ5.

Thanks, I'd mentioned Tate earlier but had no idea on his history or background. This will give Hunter a whole different perspective. Also, get Chandler a playbook.
Question, the coaches can't, but can DJ and Hunter talk frequently with Bubba now until he gets here.

Bubba will likely be a 1rd round draft choice MLB so he may never play for Clemson

Well we could just do it the SEC way and recruit a starter off somebody’s team. Who wouldn’t want to play here? You know you will get a quarter and a half of playing time as DJs backup.
