The best thing that ever happened to Qualk's show was adding Kelly so that he talks 50% less.

Their first problem...they talk NBA the majority of time
Jun 26, 2017, 12:00 PM
|
|
we'll, the majority of time that I have flipped through the station trying to catch football discussion. There are maybe 7 people in the State of Douth Carolina that give a raaatsarse about NBA.
Second problem. The kid is allowed to talk
Third problem. Neither of these kids have a clue about real life and want until they get off of their parents insurance.
Just my toooosents.

I am not Qualk's biggest fan, though I do like Kelly.
However, your comments about either of them and speculation about them living off parents is ABSURD.
They both have Clemson degrees. Kelly was also a student athlete. They also hold down jobs that are incredibly demanding of them, and Qualk even does play-by-play work for Clemson events.
No matter if you like them or not, your opinion about the way they manage their adult lives is crap, and some holier than thou stuff you obviously need to fix in yourself.

Well, since your brought it up, his Play by Play is absolute horrible. Especially in baseball. I can only hope he is not in the long range plans for our broadcasting lineup.

Doesn't matter what you think of his announcing style or radio personality...
The poster that called them out simply because they are in their twenties is ridiculous. A perfect example of people who want to live in a world 30 years ago.
News flash, you can't do that, and a refusal to evolve with the times because you want to remember "the good old days" is as damaging to our society as anything else that's currently happening.

And you sure do sound like an an old man yelling at a cloud. And no, you likely won't understand that reference.
You realize that these "kids", are and always will be the future of our world.
I assume you were just the perfect embodiment of everything that was ever good and wholesome throughout your entire life and never had to learn, or make any mistakes, or grow personally and professionally in any way.
You probably just popped out of mamma perfect, right?
How many years before you can step back and see the big picture without ridicule? Just wondering.

I agree all they want to do is talk NBA ugh. It's too bad but the other day they read the draft results over the air. It had to be the worst show on radio.

The day after the NBA draft? Which was by far the biggest sports thing that went on during the week.

Well it is his show. And he's nearly 30 years old, if I recall correctly.

Lol give me a break, they're adults. Don't be a crotchety old fart.

Let me guess, you hate the music in Death Valley also...sigh.
I like the oldies very much, and the money I've spent on vinyl and my turntable can back me up.
But good grief, get over yourself. That's really your complaint? Their intro music? SMH.

I got my dad's Techics SL-1200 Quartz Direct Drive redone and added a Shure M97xE. One of my most prized possessions.

Cool. I've considered another TT but digital is just easier and I'm too lazy to get off the couch to flip a record.

Yep, I get it. A large amount of my music is also digital.
But when you throw on something like Red Headed Stranger by Willie Nelson (my personal favorite album) or some Hendrix or Zeppelin...nothing compares to the sound a good TT and vinyl will give you.

Love Tajh. Love his work in the community. But I've listened to him on ESPN Radio with Sturgis and he will not be able to fill his own 3 HR show. Not a hater, just my opinion. I think that would be a huge struggle.
If it is TB he needs someone else on with him strong to help carry the show.
