Well, wormpuller, I agree to this extent. In fact a "coot" is actually a reasonably respectable bird whose name does not really convey the appropriate level of disrespect for you lot. For generations you've pretended that all Clemson people were farmers and that there was something dishonorable or laugh worthy in that profession. Perhaps their agricultural products stuck going down your throat at dinner today.
Whatever your choice for derisive nicknames, or how "creative" they are, well "a rose by any other name. . . ." And no name changes a yardbird into a tiger. Enjoy your beatdown.
