The top players are going to be $500k or more.

Try $750k average for top 50 transfers and I quote: “The average earnings for the top 50 ranked transfers in men's college basketball are around $750,000. This amount can vary significantly based on the player's ranking and the program they transfer to.”

“I sure hope those poor kids can afford to eat. And maybe even take a girl out on a date every once in a while.”

Remember that’s why all this crap started? LOL

Now every one of these “kids” could buy my house just to wipe their butt with it and throw it away.

Gotta love it.

So does that mean they are cut pay checks equal to that amount from some collective slush fund, or is the school estimating they will earn that amount by utilizing their NIL facilities?

I thought I heard Seth Greenberg say agents are asking a million or more

for a lot of guys. I took him to mean they were pretty good, but not necessarily great, players.

Then you also have to consider whether or not their credits will transfer over and if you offer their major. Right? We are talking about student-athletes after all.

The "student" part of that is entirely debatable!***

Miami was supposedly paying $800k for one of the guards they got a few years ago.

Pissed off the rest of the team and they had to up them as well.

I’ve read the top player’s agents are going after $1M or more because they know schools are trying to front load rev share + NIL (before regulations) this next season. It’s a distortion that the race to build the “best roster” will work in the favor of the hired guns that have a proven performance record.
