You are aware that Canada is huge and nothing has ever been said about part of Canada becoming part of the US. Nations do not change or merge.

Since Canada actually provides their people with healthcare and reasonable pension and exchange for their tax dollars, I’m sure your favorite oligarch would love to take them over and strip that away from their citizens and hand the money to their corporate masters

It’s scary the ignorance of someone who says the words “the government provides “. How exactly does the government provide something?
It’s like if I come and knock u in the head and take your wallet , but I in turn provide you with $20 to get you back home. I mean after all, I still provided it for you

It's funded by taxes, just like in every other developed country that has universal healthcare (which is all of them except the US). Same way that public libraries, public parks, public schools, public roads, Social Security, Medicaid, Medicare, and the military are funded in the US.

The healthcare in Canada isn’t what the media keeps telling us. You are put on a waiting list for specialists. One of patients returned from Calgary one year after leaving Ohio. I saw her in my office and asked why she came back. She said she had a breast lump. I asked, won’t they take care of that in Canada? She said yes, but I have to wait six Months for a biopsy. We got the biopsy one week later it was an aggressive cancer. I don’t think she would have survived the Canadian healthcare system. She was 45 years old at the time.
And for all you that say that this is not a true story, you are wrong. It is absolutely true.
