Did anyone else notice how bad it sounded? The crowd did not seem to into the game tonight as well.

Through much of the game (at least from my seats).
But the sound system has been a bit off all season. There's an obvious delay between the East and West endzone speakers and it makes for a strange experience (again, at least thats what it seems like from my seats)

It takes aup to a 1/2 of a second for sound to move from one side of the stadium to the other, so I imagine opinions will vary here.

My wife and I had to stay home with Covid today. We will be back next week. That should solve the crowd issue. ?

I can identify with you. I'm still recuperating from COVID that I got the third week in October. My breathing is not back to normal. Anyone who downplays it is WRONG! I hope you recover quickly.

It hit us somewhere worse than a cold but not as bad as the flu. Definitely not a sinus infection. My wife has 2-3 of those most years and we know exactly what that looks like. My fever ended Friday and my wife seems to be about 24 hours behind me on the whole thing. Feeling better but just no energy. Everybody is entitled to their opinion on Covid. Not entitled to an opinion on my personal medical status.

I think we’ve turned the corner. We’ll be fine. Looking forward to being back in the Valley Saturday. Like Dabo says, we only get 7 of these each year. Really s u c k e d to miss one yesterday.

I do not. We have been tailgating at Valley Walk the last couple of years. Wristband restrictions kind of stink but it is a good spot.

Crisp, solid base. And the crowd that I wws a part of, say 75k of us were very passionate. The purple out was awesome

They must have made an adjustment to the sound system about 5 minutes into the game. We could barely understand the announcer at first but it was much clearer by the time they shared the veterans' stories. The student section was hyped up early in the game, and the rest of the crowd gradually chimed in, especially after Superman Shipley leaped tall defenders in a single bound.

I have to agree with you, the sound didn't sound as loud and crisp as usual. I was wondering if the swirling wind was causing this or if something was wrong. When Boulware's speech come on it was muffled and not loud enough. Where I sat, you couldn't understand what he was saying. and my favorite part, the 4th quarter pump up didn't have the same effect. I sit about 8 rows up in the middle of the north upper deck and several people around me noticed the same thing.

In our seats in the upper deck on the visitor side it didn’t sound bad. But we went down and stood on top of the hill with a few minutes left ( cause both of my sons wanted to watch from there and go on the field after the game) and it definitely had a echo and a delay. Didn’t sound near as good standing under the video board for sure.
