Scheduled to visit Clemson Saturday, March 9 - what should we see?

Believe it or not, I contribute to IPTAY for PAW Journey because I am a big fan of Coach Swinney's football program. On Saturday my husband and I, along with another couple (Clemson fans), will visit Clemson to see the football facility. We haven't been to Clemson since 2015. What should we make sure to see in our one day whirlwind visit besides Tiger Walk, the cemetery, '55 Exchange, etc? Do you all have other recommendations maybe even for iconic restaurants? Thanks in advance.

My husband is a USNA grad (one of Clemson’s former players is Navy’s offensive line coach) and spent 30 years in the Marine Corps. He got his PHD in military history at Texas A&M ‘20 and is now a professor teaching mid-level officers at Quantico. Our friend who is coming with us is a newly minted Marine Corps Colonel. I was in the Navy. Thanks for the tips.

For a nice restaurant that you can call and make reservations at Pixie and Bills. Also you have the Pendleton historic square which is nice that gives 5-6 restaurant options and a little bit down road is the famous Macs Drive In (just a lunch burger type place) but has been there forever and coaches and players have sat at their lunch counter. Even has a field goal post from Death Valley inside. You will love all of it and you can’t go wrong with any. If you want a good view of Lake Hartwell go to Your Pie pizza lakeside as you can walk down to a dock or sit on the boardwalk.
