An outstanding player at Clemson (or for that matter - any school) does not always translate to a sure fire high draft pick. It’s pretty much a crap shoot as regards to the particular ‘need’ of each franchise. One team may need a WR, next team up needs LB, then next DB, etc. Just because a player is outstanding player at Clemson he may be victim of each teams particular requirement.
Don’t diss on small schools talent; think of Walter Payton, Jerry Rice, Terrell Owens, all HOFer’s. One thing I observed during rounds 1 & 2 was how many of explayers who announced each team’s choice had played football at small ‘no-name’ colleges (Tennessee State, Gramling, etc).

What specifically about him and his game is the issue from the view of the scouts? Size, strength, quickness, what? That’s the question, we get that college doesn’t translate.

I love mitch but he came in his freshman year with about the same build he has today. He should easily be 320 and mostly muscle but this is mitch's body after 4 years in a college weight room compared to a Starting NFL LT

JMHO, but I think Hyatt needs to hit the weight room and greatly increase his physical strength relative to his size. This is something that he can do if he is so motivated.

Hopefully, buy maybe he has tried and has worked hard? On the other hand, he will no longer have class to attend and can focus strictly on football.
