Jake Tapper has written a just released book about the base where Daniel Rodriguez was stationed and the battle that took place there. I don't know if Daniel is quoted in the book, but Tapper interviewed most of the troops that were involved in the battle, so there is a good chance that he is mentioned. It should be an interesting book.

I'm currently serving in Afghanistan with a Soldier who was in the same Company as Daniel during OEF 9 and that battle; he told me that Daniel is mentioned in the book.

Let me tell you, the Jeremy Shaad report on Daniel Rodriguez this past weekend during College Gameday, had our entire unit in tears. Powerful stuff. So proud of our program and University for affording such a special young man this great opportunity.
