He is passing for 100 yards a game with a 44% completion percentage. I'd bet the backup can do just as well.
Not much of a loss for UNLV. Might be addition by subtraction.

as the NFL.
IF i were the admin i would kick him off the team now. stop all money going to this kid from the university. no scholarship.. not tutoring.. no perks. He becomes just another student trying to make his way through college with no help from the AD.

Guess it depends on how the contract is written. Until recently they couldn't be "Pay for play" type of contracts, so there may be no breach in that area.

That’s a lot of info to dig up overnight. Need some more verification.
Also, how does this fit with UNLV not “upholding” their agreement that was prior to him enrolling? That’s the whole reason he redshirted—UNLV did not upheld agreed upon terms. They can’t pay him unrealized market value. Wonder if he would have agreed to lower payments if they were 0-3 instead of 3-0… doubt it.

well yeah. That is the whole argument of the admin. "YOU got what we agreed to. We wouldn't dock your pay if we were 0-3 and we are not going to increase your pay because we are 3-0 ."

The tweet was not from the admin. Further, do you think the admin would admit to not paying him if they did?

of the argument. there are so many entities involved now i collectively call them "administration"
i don't believe anything posted on tweeter. That is why i don't side with any one until i see some facts.
I doubt the player will agree to release his signed NIL agreement to the press.. and i doubt the admin can legally release it. This will likely remain he said/she said.

come there and hadn't been able to fulfill their end…so the school technically can say they fulfilled their end of the bargain (gave him scholarship) and distance themselves from what the collective agreed to. Then technically they are all correct.

I'm sure he already signed the guaranteed contract with the new school. It's locked in. That way he's not at risk, while he's not playing, and other QBs have 10 more games to showcase.

This will be a good soap opera to watch play out.
This is all going to be a s*** show until we get regulations, contracts, and more transparency. Maybe a few more nasty incidents like this will help get the ball rolling.

It seems like he only got $3k of the promised $100k. Sounds like it was a verbal agreement though so he’s SOL.
