I normally respect his knowledge, but he is simply fabricating and exaggerating NC State ability. He just mentioned Hines as "Heisman candidate"?? He is 6th in his own conference in rushing for God's sake. Walt just stated 10 yards a carry?? Hines rushes for 5.5 per carry and 81 per game average. Hardly Heisman numbers. Explosive running game for NC State? They are not even in the top 50 in rushing per game. NFL Defensive line??? They are 101 in the nation in passing yards surrendered, which means they cannot consistently pressure the QB. Outside of Chubb, the rest of that defense is nothing special.
I'm not sure what this guy's agenda is, but this is Paul Johnson love.
This game boils down to 2 things: Can we block Chubb, and can we pressure Finley. If we can do both, Clemson by 3 touchdowns.

I hate trying to predict games off of numbers. There is so many things that go into why things happen the way they do like weather, who you're playing, turnovers, injuries, playing them early in the season or later in the season and many many more to name. If numbers meant anything NC State would have dominated South Carolina. Its about trying to play your best and if Clemson does that I think they win comfortably.

Yes- but I would be greatly surprised if Dabo didn't have targets in mind for replacing every coach he has should they decide to leave. He may not be perfect at everything but he's he's pretty solid in the personnel management department.
