Great idea. After taxes he can rent a 1000 sq ft condo and get a really nice skateboard.

ESPN acts like he is the next great coach. Every year he is just so so.

I would leave Pennsylvania and the Big 10 in a second. Winters up north suck, and recruits know it. Why would you want to spend 5 months of the year freezing your butt off when you could spend the winter months somewhere warm. I think their is a definite correlation between winters effect on recruiting and playing for national championships. Look at Michigan as an example. Why would you want to live in Ann Arbor when you could live in sunny California?

Franklin himself stated that he only hires assistants with "Hot wives", and that's what makes them great assistants. Unfortunately, his wife is NOT HOT, so he sucks as a coach per his criteria. He made his own rules, and now must follow them.

I can see this.
At PSU he'll always bump up against OSU. In the PAC 12, if he can get the recruiting at USC unscrewed, he could dominate that conference and compete for National Championships.
