the tone for how we finish the season. First we play in Doak, and despite the Noles record it will be tough going in spots because it is the one stadium that rivals DEATH VALLEY in the ACC. If Tigers go to 4-1, then they play in one of the smaller stadiums in the ACC in Groves. The Tigers will have to handle Demon Deacons and the change in venues and understand how hard it is to win on the road despite large or small. At 5-1, Clemson then comes home to play the Hoos on a Weekend before the bye week. Hopefully, the first half (and second) will showcase how far the Tigers have come. If they sit at 6-1 at the end of that night, this team has one last bye week to heal and get better before closing the season out with Louisville at home, VT and Pitt on the road, and the Citadel and USuC at DEATH VALLEY. Hopefully this team learns to win in adverse situations on the road and at home and get better and better as they approach the final weeks of the season. Buckle up its going to be a fun month. Go Tigers!!!

Good summary!

Not too worried about the team taking games lightly. It's not like we have been at the top of the mountain lately. Duke game was "just last season"!

I think the recent memory of losing to opponents who we feel and even most people on the outside felt Clemson was more talented than "will keep the focus where it needs to be"!

Fans on the other hand; will be all over the place with talk of cake walks and cupcakes. Winning is hard; especially when you have that Paw on the side of your helmet. Teams get up to play Clemson because of a decade and a half of "DOMINANCE"!

Those two things tell me the team won't relax this week. Forget a record, because they could change their whole season around with a Clemson win. I've been on a dominant team playing a team on a losing streak; there is a certain pressure to "not be the team they end the streak on"! Motivation won't be an issue.

Wake. Dabo will remind them that the last time they were at Wake it took a lot of heroics to win the game. He will have the team jacked up to play the Demon Deacons.

And so on! If Clemson is a stock, you better buy it now! No way he let's the team relax after not performing well in recent years on games we should have won.
The big difference is the offense is now showing up. The defense has time to get right; because the offense is helping play complimentary football.

If the defense gets back to championship level for an entire game - even the back ups! Watchout.
