It could happen if Michigan is able to exploit the Dawg secondary.

Unfortunately Michigan's strength is running the ball and Georgia's strength is stopping the run. Michigan has to be able to attack the nickel/safety position the way Bama did, but i don't know if they can. I really hope I'm wrong.

Too late...I'm already on it. Let me have it. Wait....I'll do it for you: 1980, less with more, trash fan base, cheaters, criminals, etc.

You don't belong in the playoffs and you know it. Your best win is over a 9-3 team that you only beat on a gifted pick 6. Michigan by double digits at least.

Maybe....but we're in. You guys just refuse to acknowledge the obvious fact that Kirby ran the clock out when he could have punched it in at the end of the game. Then the narrative would be, "you don't deserve to be in the playoffs. You only scored one offensive TD against us."
What does double digits "at least" suggest.....Michigan by triple digits?

For as bad as a coach you guys think Kirby is, you do know he beat Dabo, right? Pick 6, bad QB, poor play calling, dress it up any way you want, but Kirby beat Dabo.

Why is anyone engaging and talking any trash? Tip your caps to AFDAWG, Bulldog and the UGA guys here and say, “you got us” and we can’t wait til 2024. All this nonsense talking to them about not beating Bama or they are gonna lose to Bama, again, sounds a lot like the other SEC blowhards to claim Bama when their team stinks. Let’s be better than that, jeesh.

Well at the end of day after the bowl win at 10-3 In the history book a down year for Clemson is not that far behind UGA’s best team in almost a century.

Not just a down year for Clemson. You had the next Heisman winner at QB, remember? Remember what he and those receivers were going to do to the inexperienced UGA secondary? They didn't light up UGA or anyone else. Clemson was picked to yet again roll through the ACC. Clemson was a sure-bet for the playoff and a favorite to win the national championship. Instead, you got 3 losses. That's way more than a "down year." Given Clemson's recent success and recruiting, that's a disaster. You're free to shrug it off as just "bad" but it was way more than that.

The key to beating UGA is being able to string enough

offensive plays together while not allowing substitutions. Bama was able to do that and wore that huge UGA line out - particularly Jordan Davis. Jordan Davis is huge but when Bama picked up the pace and didn't substitute Davis was largely a non-factor.

You seem like you'd actually like to discuss football.
Your take is one I hadn't thought about but it seems to have merit. My takeaway - right or wrong - is that as good as Bryce Young has been all year, he played out of his mind Saturday. We couldn't pressure him and he made plays. When we pressured him he made plays. Question is, can he play like that against UGA again (assume we beat MI)? If he can, I expect to see a similar outcome.

I think it was a combo, Saban decided, we can’t run the ball on these guys straight up so we will throw it 50 times and run situationally. He seemed to play the odds that throwing it they would eventually hit some and get into a rhythm and they did. UGA looked great up 10-0, Saban held to it and kept bombing and they got hit. I think it was a brilliant coaching job more than BY playing out of his mind, but certainly a little of both. Just like Belichek last night throwing only 3 times, all in the game plan.

This. The same way you beat Venables. Tempo to reduce subs and interrupt sideline comms to the DC. Wear out the big fellas. I am not sure big blue has the passing offense to get it done though.

It would be intersting to know the mindset of the Dawgs. This loss was a huge gut-punch for the fanbase and I think confidence is not nearly where it was. I look forward to seeing how the team responds to Michigan. Three weeks away so hopefully they've put this disaster behind them.

I hate Michigan, but I hope they beat the sh”” out of the 1980 chest thumpers. Maybe Clemson can meet 1980 again next year when all those upper classmen have moved on.
