I may be totally wrong, and if I am, this will be one of the times that I will be glad that I'm wrong, but, with all the talent that we have, and with all that talent starting off the new season healthier than our FB team has been in a while. I just don't believe that DJ is the right QB that can lead our team to the NC game and win it all.
IMHO, for DJ to be successful this coming season, he would have to went somewhere, and gotten with someone during the off season that could team him to be a leader, and from last season, DJ didn't have, nor did he ever show the kind of leadership skills that a QB at the collegiate level that we play in has to have, and we've all seen that type of leadership qualities in Tajh Boyd, DW4, and Trevor Lawrence. As a matter of fact, DJ hasn't shown the leadership that could have matched Cole Stoudt or Nick Schuessler, and both of those QB's were only backup QB's. Also,
IMO, DJ needed to get with a QB guru that could teach a QB with DJ's arm strength how and when to use that incredible arm strength that DJ possesses, and as we saw last season, DJ practically used the same arm strength throwing to his receivers that were 5, 10, 20 yards down field, and it was clear that once the ball was snapped to him, he lost his ability to control his arm strength, and IMO, that is why balls were flying over his receivers heads, hitting them in the back of their helmet, or powering through or past receivers 5-10 yards away from him. So it is my opinion that in the off season DJ needed to do some work, and he needed to do it with one of those guru's that works with QB's as their profession, and some of them do a pretty good job coaching up unpolished college QB's in a way that college QB coaches don't have enough time to be with their QB's, especially in the off season bc of NCAA rules. And there are a lot of people that is, or were very good at what they do, or have done, and they don't know how to teach it to someone else, and that is why there has always been a need for teachers and instructors, that I believe that DJ seriously needs to work with....

Yeah, it's not like our team hasn't faced a lot of adversity under Dabo and managed to stay the course and thrive over his time here. From suspensions, injuries, coaching upheavals, and mid-season transfers and such, a bad loss here and there, we pop right back and get back at it pretty regularly with the best of them.

Other Games That Come To Mind ---

Against Ohio St..... giving them the 31-0 beat down was almost perfection for me.
ACC Championship Game against Notre Dame..... Trevor Lawrence licked those chops enough to go a little dark and stared down the Irish's sideline after he orchestrated a scoring drive. Dabo had what he wanted in the weapon Trevor is and just poked and pronged Notre Dame all game long.
The comeback against Ohio State to reach the National Championship game did take some mental and physical come to Jesus moments from our whole staff and players.

The impressive thing about that 14 year FSU streak

They did it in a significantly harder environment.
No 12 game regular seasons No ACCCG No Playoffs
Old school, 11 game season and a bowl game.
12 games total
And Bobby Bowden built FSU, unlike Saban and Bama's history.
Sorry, Bobby Bowden is the greatest college football coach, not Saban.
Had Bowden had the BCS and Playoffs he'd have more titles than Saban easily!

I don’t completely agree with your assessment, but I certainly agree with the jist. Coach Bowden should be remembered as one of the greatest, if not THE greatest, college football coaches in history. He’s definitely the best (IMO) in my lifetime.
