The Frustrating Part of it All

Is that Florida State, our biggest in conference rival, has the number 1 recruiting class followed by the team we just lost to in the National Championship Game. One of the negatives of going to the National Championship Game and loosing so closely , is that I personally will not not be satisfied with any season that falls short until we win one. If that can be considered a negative. Maybe it is just how fans of elite programs feel and it is all new to me. Sure the gap between us and other ACC competition along with that of South Carolina, promises many more 10 win seasons in a row but further shows that each season will come down more and more to the showdown with FSU. Great job by our coaches though and never been more proud to be a Tiger!

Not to say I wont be proud of the guys on the team for giving it there all but being so close to the mountain top make me as a fan want it more than evr. Maybe that is how I meant to say it

Stupid ###, clemson being a top ten team every year would be amazing, a trip to the dance is even more awesome. It's like saying you wouldn't date any girl but Cindy Crawford and that's just stupid

You're forgetting the most important thing. Yeah ... it's VERY important to get great players. AND WE DID! But you've also got to be able to coach them up. They're not going to just walk out on the field and dominate. Dabo and his staff have shown that they can coach great players and get the most out of them (with the exception of special teams ... still need some work there!).
So I'm not going to sit around and worry that somebody got better players than we did. It's all guesswork until they line up on the grass and play, anyway. We already have GREAT players, we just got a bunch more GREAT players, we've got great coaches, and there's no way I could be more excited about the future of Clemson football!
