finally found le wife a new car, Toyota offering port installed PFF package for $900, full hood, door cups, rear of side windows, rear bumper, door edges. Worth it? but my biggest concern is we tend to keep cars awhile, film gonna cause more issues in 5 years or so down the line than benefit?

Seems hard to avoid buying that on Toyotas. It's on my '22 Tacoma I bought used

in March '24, along with some extra warrantee and window tint. When I was pricing based on window sticker, I did not include all that in my offer to the guy that bought it new. The paint protection and window tint is barely noticeable, well installed. However, I have the same concern as you about years down the road, because I intend to keep the truck for a very long time.

It's much cheaper than after market film...

But Toyota typically doesn't cover to and over the edges. Our Tacoma film ends about 1/2" short of the edges. It's a precut piece, undercut for the panel and then applied.

had any problems with curling edges or dirt accumulation at the edges? those are things I'm reading about on the interwebs

The edges do a dirt line

Since they don't wrap the entire hood.

It's also slightly yellowed. Our Tacoma is work truck white.
