The best thing about refs last night was that they called

2 technicals for flopping on VT. First time I have seen that called in one of our games all season after hearing that they would place emphasis on flops before the year started. Wake got away with two obvious flops on 3 point shots this week.

Yes, let Hollywood stay in Hollywood.

If they start calling this more often it's gonna hurt small businesses like the 'Jake Bentley School of Flop'...

No wonder Duke is down in basketball. Fundamental part of their program.

I just don't like the rule. Too subjective and leaves it up to the refs to determine whether it was intentional or not. How do you really know. Sometimes you just lose your balance. To me it's no different than the move chase hunter makes when jumping into a defender to draw a foul. You just don't know.

I think anytime a post player is backing someone down and the other player acts like they were ejected onto their back, that is a flop 100% of the time. If anyone has ever bumped into you, falling perfectly onto your back is not a natural reaction.

Now of course that is coached, and is done to get an offensive foul call, but it is still a flop.

Those I can live with, they really need to crack down on the 3-point flops, those are the worst and are so blatant I don't see how it isn't called more. If you go up, get the shot off, and a guy brushes you on your way down, did it affect your shot? So why call a foul? It's no wonder there are so many 4-point plays because the initial shot wasn't affected, and they do the little kick-out leg flop thing to get a call.

Again, that is coached, and I understand why the guys do it, but doesn't mean I agree with it or like it.

I mean it was obvious and ridiculous what they were doing.***

How do you keep Gamecocks out of your yard?
• Put up goal posts
What does a Gamecock grad call a Clemson Tiger grad in 2 years?
