Not to mention ugly. But tacky and tasteless most of all. As much as I hate SCar, I would never vandalize their field like that. I remember all too well how much I hated when their team would intentionally try to scuff up the paw on our midfield. That started a multi-year string of very bad blood.

I'm pretty sure these kinds of pranks are harmless. While it's marginally criminal (trespass, vandalism), this kind of stuff has gone on for a long time and is all part of a rivalry. No one got hurt and no property was actually damaged.
My only complaint is the quality of the prank. That's one ugly looking tiger paw. If you're going to do it, do it right. Bring a large stencil and figure out a way to replace their logo at mid field with an accurate tiger paw. Then take a nice high res photo from the upper deck to share with everyone. Oh, and see if you can do this during football season instead of the Spring.

After suggesting it was sos I think it had to be an inside job with all of the heightened security at sports facilities after yesterday. When I was a police officer in Cootlumbia it was possible, but difficult to get in there, but now it should be close to impossible
