Yeah, this was my favorite. Mike Williams was like a full grown T-Rex and the coot players were like little baby dinos hanging off of him just trying to break the skin. I remembered thinking our guys will always be higher up on the food chain.

I always go back to 1997 at WBS. BRAD SCOTT WAS IN PURGATORY AS THE HC. THE QB WAS A PITIFUL FELLA NAMED VIC PENN. HE TRIED TO THROW in the flats and Antwan EDWARDS STEPPED IN FRONT AND30 YARDS LATER, HIGH STEPPING for a 40

He had 3 TDs in the first half. I was at that game and for some reason I texted my Coot buddy “1” after our first TD. No response. After the next one , “2”. He finally asked me to stop after “6”. I didn’t.

The Place of Fort Hill in Clemson’s Bequest: Clemson’s intention to create an institution of higher education is at the core of his will. Early versions of his will named the new institution Fort Hill Institute or Calhoun–Clemson College, similar to Washington-Lee University. In a letter to his friend and attorney a few years before his death, Clemson wrote that, in case the Legislature did not accept his will, that

is still Renfrow shaking off tackles from pretty much the entire secondary to score a touchdown. Second would be Mike Williams carrying the guy into the end zone. There are many other great plays, but these two are tops on my list.

Saw most, all great. Glad you got Charlie in there at #10. Was there. He played hurt. That made it 4-0 against the chickens for one of Clemson's greatest who often had little supporting cast. After the game - a cinematic moment. Two coot fans made eye contact from across a dark crowded parking lot. They sprinted towards each other at full speed and embraced in the middle of the lot. Almost in tears, one shouted he's gone, he's gone. That SXX is finally gone. Completely overcome with emotion at the idea that Charlie Houdini would never torment them again. Remember it like yesterday.

in 2016. The poor coots couldn't find the end zone all night, so Mike being the true sportsman he is, decided to help them out by carrying a few of their defenders into the end zone. What a nice guy.

My favorite play didn’t even score. It was James Davis breaking about four tackles on a 50-yard run straight through the middle. Down 6-9 and with likely the last possession, Whitehurst had just passed four straight completions to erase a 1st and 35 impossible situation … then Davis takes it to the one. The winning TD was the cherry on the shake …
