An RPI killer. May have just lost hosting a regional with that loss. If we don’t win 2 of 3 at VA Tech, and do damage in the tourney, hosting a regional is almost impossible. I just don’t understand why no coaches visited the mound when Val was struggling. I missed the first hit of the inning. Did a coach already visit? I always defer to the coaches as they know more than I ever will, but it seems like a mound visit would have been in order.

Are you kidding they've lost 6 games all year.... step back from the ledge? CAGLE didn't have it tonight and Rittman should've seen that earlier in the inning.

Agree, this is on coach. Hope he says that too. Doesn't instill much confidence in the other pitchers. If anything, you have to pull her after the first walk in.

Eeehhhh it’s a ###### if you do ###### if you don’t decision.
Hard to pull a player of that caliber no matter the situation. I don’t place blame on her or the coach. Just one of those situations without a right or wrong answer in my opinion

Agree to disagree. I've watched great teams and they've all had to pull their ace. Even the great Cat got pulled on occasion. I wasn't saying he should have pulled her after the first hit. Maybe not even the 2nd and it's not like they hadn't hit the ball hard. As I stated, after the first walked run in, you have to pull her... it became mental at that point. She was rattled probably because she was throwing good stuff and the ump moved the zone.

D1 softball (who ranks us 6th) had us as the 16 seed yesterday. Our record against top 25 teams is 3-5. I’m pretty sure nobody else in the top 25 has less than 4 top-25 wins. We have feasted on bad teams all year. I’m not on the ledge, but really thought that we had a shot at the CWS this year until the past 3 weeks. Love the team but they’re play is creating a really rough path toward the CWS.

Yep, regretfully agree. I try to watch a lot of softball and the strength abd conditioning the other good teams have makes us look like we look to socon teams.

We're not hosting a super regional. We have a good team but as I had said after the fsu series, we don't have the hitting to be top 10. We have to win with pure pitching and that's next to impossible in this day and age. Sad to say but our record against top 20 talent this year isn't good. Our best win was a midweek game against uga... and I think at the end of the day, uga loses. Maybe in their own regional.
This one really stings a lot when you have a 3 run lead. We've done it to other teams too but it doesn't help the sting.
It either rallys the team or the opposite and we end the year in a whimper.

ACC tournament then maybe squeak in as an 8 seed. Like I said it will take a miracle or perhaps an upset in another regional.
