Yep. I'm looking at this as Mafah is coming back since they have "similar" running styles. The initial competition will come for the change of pace/speedster, but we still need a back-up to Mafah with that punishing run style.

Ship running down the hill with the seniors should indicate he is gone. I guess anyone can change their mind, but it would look silly to do so if you aren’t 100% committed to your decision.

Quite a few times a player has run down the Hill on Sr day only to return, Dabo encourages players that haven't made their mind up yet to go ahead and run down the Hill just incase.

Hate to see quad leave. His limited carries in the ND game helped a lot. He will go start somewhere. He can move the pile. Good luck big fella.
But our RB room was too full anyway. No need to carry 7 RB. Cut it one more and give coach Luke both slots.

Personally, I am excited about the RB room even without Quadlizza. I think he will find a happy home and make a program very happy with his production.
I'm excited to see Keith Adams Jr. I think he will be one of those success stories of under-recruited players.

The kid can play and it is a wise move $$$ for him. He’ll get some good pocket change and get to play more, he’d be great in the Wake Forest offense or Virginia Tech scheme.

Probably can start somewhere else. He may do well. If Shipley is leaving would think it would be for the NFL. May be waiting on a grade and guidance on what round. Don't think he would transfer as it would be a lateral move. If he is looking at NIL transfer money seems like that would be a bad look on his part. As just an opinion not sure if he is NFL ready. Could increase his stock behind an experienced line and a new Offensive line coach for the following year. If he doesn't practice for the bowl game then this may tell all.

Mafah will take a min of 50% next year if he stays. Also you have no idea what ships plans are after football and he will be in grad school. That matter as he probably wont have much a a NFL opp.

Of all the transfers that have been announced so far, this is the first one I think genuinely hurts us. I thought he had a lot of upside and would have loved for him to have stayed. But unselfishly, I can understand why he wants to move. He's inevitably gonna be stuck on the depth chart behind Shipley and/or Mafah (unless they BOTH transfer), and he's definitely good enough to be getting a starting look at some level. Hate it for Clemson, but don't blame him for not wanting to burn a year of eligibility stuck on the bench.
