News reports saying that Kyren Lacy death was self inflicted.

That is so sad for a young man with so much talent that was obviously overcome by his troubles. His life style and culture would have eventually brought him down but it is sad to see when a young man of 24 just gives up and quits. Maybe he finally has some peace now.

What was his culture? As of now I just know he was a reckless driver who accidentally, but recklessly, killed someone. What was his culture like? I haven't heard.

He was likely facing life in prison for vehicular homicide.

Yeah....that part of the story is a given. He wasn't going to get life, but he was going in long enough where his football days and millions of dollars were over. The question was about his culture though. What was his culture that was being referred to?

Yep...nip that in the bud. We have all seen those disaster stories at Clemson where he will have to finish somewhere else if they don't focus.

Put a leather strap to his backside... Just kidding, if your son is at Clemson then he's in good company. Let him sew his wild oats so to speak and I'm certain that his home training and teachings from his wonderful Tiger Family will bring him back home on his own.

Becuase he had a conflict with a family member and shot a gun into the ground then ran. Doesn’t seem really good. Not sure how many of you have pulled a gun out on a family member and made a warning shot after about to go on trial for reckless homicide

Yeah, still doesn't say much. He was suicidal. So no telling what his culture was. We would have no idea. Anyway, he knew his life and dreams were destroyed as far as what he would have ever wanted. So he became suicidal and followed through with it.

That he didn’t take anyone else’s life again with his reckless escape and selfish decisions.
Good riddance.

It’s must be easy to judge people from your throne. He made mistakes, but remember he was someone’s son, brother, friend. This is a tragic end to an already tragic situation.

No. I'm sick of this kind of view. Yes, people make mistakes. Mistakes are not manslaughter, domestic violence, and then when you're fleeing from the cops, shooting yourself. How ####### dare you act like someone judging a criminal and a thug is sitting on top of a throne. Good riddance.

If he had raised his "child" right, none of this would have happened.

he was staring at 20 years minimum for vehicular manslaughter, and leaving the scene. It costs people their lives. His career was over, as was his young adult life. This is no shock.

Tough situation. Sad for his family and friends. Things just spiraled out of control for the young man. One bad decision led to many others. Unfortunately, this seems to be a more common thing with this NIL money and kids buying fast cars.

This guy isn't worth mentioning on TigerNet, at all. He really isn't. This man appears or seems to be a troubled man. At least it seems to me that he was. Sometimes, there's literally nothing we or anyone can do to change that. Our focus as Tiger Fans should be on this team that has put in the sweat and tears to bring us another national championship because someone else's poor life choices aren't worth discussing in this forum.
