They made it to the final 4. Meaning, they were one of the best 4 teams in the country this year.
Period.

Their performance tonight made Clemson look even better. After the Louisville game, Dabo was sure to tell us how bad Clemson’s defense was. And he was absolutely correct. Couldn’t stop the run to save a life. That takes nothing away from the greatness of Texas. They were a great football team. I would even place them 3rd when it is all said and done.

Texas is a very very good team.

A team loses a semifinal, and you think they’re not good.

Clemson is good, Texas is very very good this year.

Exactly they should finish either 2 or third ( depending on if ND gets blown out or not in the final)

OSU is elite, they just have a weird mental block about Michigan that made them lose that game but they have best roster by far. Texas may prove to be the only team in the CFP that can hang with them for a competitive game!

I think perceptions of OSU here are very skewed due to 2016 31-0 drubbing….that was almost a decade ago with a different coach ..Ryan Day is 1-1 against Clemson, one of those being a classic battle in 2019, one being a blowout win for OSU in 2020.

Texas was possibly 2 plays from getting OT

The 2nd down negative play that led to the defensive TD on the next play.

Dumb 2nd down call by Sark. He should have left the jumbo package in and run it in. They had 3 plays to do it. That would have been OT instead of a 2 score difference.
