So for the last few years basketball height and wingspan has become “length”
Now it appears that arms (and maybe legs) in football are “levers” ? Saw this in a few of the recruiting posts.
And while we’re at it. RBI or RBI’s

I’ve always agreed the ‘s’ is silent as it is Runs Batted In, but RBIs will always be used.
As for the lengths, etc., now we’re inundated with OPS, WHIP, yada, yada… these people will never stop.

RBI can be singular or plural. The S is pronounced in the plural form.

I'll never say or reference in this manner: "John Doe has 121 RBI"

1 RBI is singular. 2 RBIs is plural.
If there were two agencies called the FBI, there would be 2 FBIs.

The R stands for runs which is already plural

So I say RBI is also already plural. None of the words in FBI are plural so it's not the same.

but historically it was an (singular) RBI. So plural would be RBIs.
But there are more important things for sure.

Maybe the “R” stand for run, not runs.

My contention is that RBI has become a word unto itself and not and abbreviation When you get more than one it is RBIs. ESECPN took it upon themselves years ago to see if they could change it.
