I'd laugh if they hired Jimbo. That would maybe disrupt FSU some in the overall program strength they are developing

top 3 candidates aren't good for Clemson because Chad would be a strong candidate for Louisville, Bayor or Vandy.

I'd put my money on Dabo being a hands on guy that likes down in the dirt work as opposed to being a CEO as he's often called and as does the Tejus job require.
He finally had his 'dreamhouse,' built and has sunk roots in some fertile soil.

should Dabo elect to pursue coaching opportunities elsewhere but names like David Bailiff, Al Golden, Derek Dooley, Ricky Bustle, Tony Franklin, and Carl Pelini come to mind.

I think you all underestimate the appeal of the Clemson job. It is a top 15 job in all of college football, NC State isn't even close in comparison. If Dabo were to leave our list of potentials will be far better than when Tommy got canned.

It doesn't matter who may be interested....

The only thing that matters is who the University is interested in hiring and therein lies the problem.
Althought, now that Dr. Barker and TDP have moved-on, perhaps DRad and Dr. Clements would renew my confidence.

We probably will be that next season anyways if everyone leaves for the NFL. Maybe we can tie Duke with the same record again lose to anyone who matters and say it was an excellent season. Really hope we can get this Ohio State game if not its going to get very interesting very fast.

Good point on Louisville, Baylor, or Vandy being a strong job for Chad. I personally don't want any of our coaching staff to leave. I am not a pumper... Or a dumper... I think if we can maintain for 3 more years we could win a NC, that being said, I do think the HC job and coordinator positions at Clemson are top jobs. They pay very well, and the recruiting would be great. So when we do lose Morris/Ven, we will be in a great position to get another top man. I don't think Dabo will leave on his own choice, if he loses to the coots 2 more years then he gets fired and another school will get lucky and hire him.
