6'8" and 250 lbs sounds like a pretty great size for the position occupied by Corey Crawford this past season if he can add some muscle mass. Wonder how things serious are in his pursuit?

His coach says he is the next Clowney , if he can figure out football ? Clowney can't figure out shoelaces. I say no thanks on projects at this point , jmo.

I may have , but I will have to be properly diagnosed to be sure. This kid is a project , I just think we are past that type of player under Dabo. His size and athleticism are intriguing though .

You don't pass on a kid who obviously is a freak athlete. This kid has future star written all over him within two years.

Potential is what he is . Great athleticism and measurables do not always translate into success...especially when stepping up to the major college level as an inexperienced newcomer to the game . Yes , he could become the next Javon Kearse , or he may very well become another of the multitudinous noboduies that made it at the high school level only to get exposed as average in college. I don't know , I wouldn't have a problem with him being offered at Clemson , but I wouldn't have a problem if he weren't either.

If we signed him we are not just getting potentially a very physically gifted player. We are also keeping him away from the armpit cooters.

Hopefully the staff can get him on campus and figure out how to make room for him. If he is half as talented as his coach makes him out to be, then he's defiantly over sign worthy. You would have to think that he's really that talented if Hobby is going by to see him and try to get him in for a visit with the class already pretty full and numbers as tight as they are.

Re: Tega Wanogho Jr Hightlight tape

Good find on the highlight tape. My thoughts on it: - The kid is an athlete. His flexibility and ability to change direction are ridiculous for his size. - The speed looks real. Maybe not quite a 4.6, but definitely 4.8 or so. - He needs to get a LOT stronger. Part of his issues are with technique but he doesn't get good extension or shed blocks very well for someone his size. - He needs vast amounts of technique work. Stands straight up at the snap and his get-off isn't great yet. No idea what do with his hands. He can tackle well enough, though.

I thought the exact same thing. He stands straight up at the point of contact.. but with coaching that can be fixed. But this is his first year playing football. So with time he will get better.

We aren't pursuing him so I guess it's kind of irrelevant at this point
