I thought people were worried about arms…I mean still long way to go and tough acc opponents but very gritty team.

Like mcladdie but I think he isn’t it …tough weekend. Not taking anything away but was better competition and he struggled bad.

I think a big difference in series was the swagger we had. I’ve seen and been apart of many rivalry games and that other team has been cocky and confident and we looked scared. It was opposite this weekend. A head coach who pumps crowd up and players on bench. J Leg wiping the sc logo on the mound. Garris throwing two out and spurs down. It’s the little things and guys were lose. Paul is as right his boys looked scared.

Gotta do better in risp and being smarter at not trying too hard. I’m sure it will get better. Can’t wait to be back home this week!

I think Paino had a rougher series than McCladdie. Just my personal opinion.

I agree and that was a good walk in the 9th. But he was something like 0-12 with a bunch of k’s. I mean I know it wasn’t the greatest hitting weekend for us. A lot of strikeouts throughout the lineup. We found ways to win all 3 games that’s all I care about! We have 5 more games to fine tune things before ACC play!

This is a different swagger to this group. I don’t remember a Clemson team ever coming into the Carolina series and basically knowing that they are the bully and just doing whatever they wanted basically. There was a class difference in these two teams this weekend, and Clemson looks like a legit contender. Nobody is as battle tested against good arms and good teams this early into the season and they will ride this confidence all year.
