I'm overpaying for a lot of things these days. Who would have ever thought some nut could charge $5 for a bottle of water in a movie theatre or sporting event?

Stop by Dogs R Us for all the hot diggidy dogs you can eat lol
But yea, $6 bucks seems high.
Everything is overpriced and these "survey" people must live in Coral Gables or Cape Cod.

But inflation always sucks.

That depends on a lot of factors.

Is this a high quality organic hot dog, or a Ball Park Frank?
Is it being served to me in a restaurant that provides a good environment, or at a stadium?
Does it come with gourmet toppings, or am I limited to French's mustard and Heinz ketchup?

Costco's quality hot dogs have been 1.50 since 1984. That includes a Pepsi. That's impressive.

This is the kind of energy I've been wanting everyone to have. We have been paying too much for literally everything we buy for years now.
It's revolution time!

I was just overseas and it’s interesting, I could get an Uber ride for two dollars, a beer for two dollars, lunch with grilled chicken, roasted vegetables and rice was five dollars. A bagel was about $.30, also, a cell phone runs $10 a month, and a bike rental (nice bike) was $5 for all day. How is it in the US, with all of our buying power and resources, that all of these things cost five-ten times as much? And don’t say political, the vast difference in cost were in place regardless of who the president is. The easy answer is wages. But it’s a chicken-egg situation. The people don’t need to make a lot of money because everything is so cheap! In the same town I could get an air conditioned hotel room for $30 a night, and a steak dinner for $13. They practically have all the options we have here in the United States, but 80% less. I just feel like we’re all getting scammed in the US, and have been for a long time. It’s crazy when it’s cheaper for me to fly the whole family to a different country and stay in an oceanfront condo, than it is for me to drive to Hilton head and stay in a condo in next to a green golf course lagoon…
