Hope is a wonderful thing.

Anyone still holding onto the hope that we could
possibly survive this regional and advance has automatically been inducted into the Sunshine Pumpers Club. I’m here to greet you with open arms. I’ve been labeled a pumper for years on this site because I don’t stop hoping for wins until there is no possibility of winning. I remember the NC State football game in 2016 when State was lining up for a 33 yard game winning field goal with 2 seconds left on the clock. I’m sitting in the stands thinking man, if there really is something in them hills, now would be a good time to see it. And it happened. They missed and we won these three games game in overtime.

I’m not saying I’d bet on us winning these three games or that I even “expect” to. But I’ll be hoping it happens right up to the point that it can’t. So for all of you that feel the same, welcome to the club. Just be ready, many negative Nancys here on TNet love to say “I told you so”. But keep hoping because hope is a wonderful thing.
