PGA TOUR (1, 2, 3)
In Ohio . . .
Jacob squandered a fistful of $$$ today . . . shooting +6 today still provided him with a 7-way T-31st Place . . . earning $114,857.00
Sam (Burns) shot an Even Par Round to end up in a 4-way T-12th Place . . . earning $415,000.00

KORN FERRY TOUR (4)
In Raleigh, NC . . .
Ben shot -3 to end up in a 3-way T-48th Place.

FYI - The Tournament was won by a Tiger from Greenville, SC . . . the only issue is . . . He attended Clemson without a Lake!!! (Auburn)

Promise I haven't been ignoring you and the posts. Obviously with wall to wall baseball and softball, my eyes are worn out, and my fingers.

You know I stayed glued to Jacob's every hole. His luck ran out today and I'm devastated. Not sure how much you followed his shots, but especially the first 2 rounds he made world class pars. He makes it so hard on himself.

Missing that 4 footer for birdie on the par 5 today was heartbreaking because he turned a sure birdie into a bogey. But yesterday and today, he had some 5 , 6 , 8 footers he'd been pouring in the first 2 days miss. Guess it evened out.

Just Shooting par would have vaulted him way up the fed ex standing. He actually ended up dropping 1 spot. But the crushing blow was it would have vaulted him from 66th owgr to 60th. That would have given him a spot into the US Open.

I got the real sads. Baseball and Jacob's not playing in Canada. I'm not sure if there's qualifier for the Open the next week or not. If schema knows, please let us know.

Schema, is there any more qualifiers?

Hey Clemgalalways®, the good news is Jacob had already qualified for the U.S. Open. The top 5 players in the FedExCup standings on May 19 that had not already qualified by other criteria earned a spot, and he was one of those five. So, he and Lucas have already secured a spot.

As for other U.S. Open qualifying, we have several Tigers playing today and trying to earn a spot.

Peter Mathison is playing in Rockville, Maryland.

Doc Redman is playing in Durham, North Carolina.

Zach Gordon, William Nottingham, Turk Pettit, and Andrew Swanson are playing in Atlanta, Georgia.

Hopefully, I didn't miss any other Tigers. We had several others that did not advance out of regional qualifying, and Carson Young failed to advance from final qualifying already.

Oh, also for the Canadian Open, there is a qualifier, but I don't see any of our Tigers in the field.

God Bless you schema. Fortunately Carson is our lone Tiger in the Canadian. How awesome if he won.

I looked last night at the fields and I knew Jacob wouldn't play in the Canadian. Boys got to be tired. But I looked at the us open field and he wasn't listed... and I went into withdrawal. I know my Jacob posts are very annoying but I feel like he's our most promising Tiger to become a spieth, fowler, hovland etc.

We need a new crop of Tigers to follow. Thank you so much for the links and information.

Clemgalalways®, here is an article with the early field list, confirming Lucas and Jacob. I thought this might make you feel better to see it in print. <img border=">

Thanks!!! I still can't believe he blew up so bad on Sunday. Definitely his group as Lowry blew up too.

Just such a wonderful opportunity to move up a few more FedEx spots and more importantly, had he shot even par, he moves into owgr top 60.

Going to be interesting. Who knows what might happen but Oakmont always delivers. Just so many different ways to play it.
