I'm not arguing that he is not better than Brownell (he is), but he has more first-round exits than I can count. I guess he's been gone from Clemson for so long that it doesn't bother me that he has these "elite" teams that usually amount to not much.

I do think he's a better coach than Brownell (not even arguable, really). But, he was also at Clemson and didn't win any conference championships, conference tournaments, etc.

No, but he had 4 post season appearances in 4 years before left and had a better winning % here than Brad does.. and Brad has the advantage of a pathetic ACC with almost every legendary coach gone.

If Brownell as the most tenured coach in the ACC (I believe) can't win it... he needs to move on
