My flight home from Costa Rica got diverted from Atlanta due to bad weather and know we are at the Cooterville airport not knowing when we’ll get home. Ugh
|

Have been there four times. But will say that on my last trip there some 15 years ago saw that there were some significant changes from what I experienced during my first three visits in the early to mid-1990s. Mainly, on my last trip down I saw that Costa Rico "had been discovered", with then so many more tourists than before. Stayed again in the Quepos area, and saw a that a very significant influx of additional hotels and restaurants along the road from the town of Quepos down to the beach in Manual Antonio National Park had taken place. Did thoroughly enjoy all my visits, and would recommend renting a car, which I did on all trips.
