We have both a coaching issue and a talent issue

Not enough good players, and relying on too many true freshmen. Heidt can’t get here soon enough.

D has been on a downhill trajectory since Venables left. We need a change at the top. No way we should be run on like this with the talent we have. Ridiculous.

TX guard or tackle made a great block on our LB (Sammy or Wwodaz).

We were playing aggressively on defense to set the edge. For that to work, the inside D-lineman and / or inside LBs cannot be beaten badly.

Didn’t work that time.

But don’t accuse Goodwin of being passive on that one.
