Davis was pictured in the group FDOC photo last week when students returned. So, no, he is not declaring for the draft.

They are seniors taking advantage of the extra Covid year. I don't think that is the case with Tyler Davis that was hurt much of the year.

Tyler Davis still has 2 more years to play. I know I haven't seen him say he staying another year but both Swinney and CWG have made the comments initially that they only expected to lose 1 DL. I think most of thought it was going to be XT. Then Darnell Jefferies committed to Gopher Boat Rower's. I still wondered if that was really the only DL we would lose but then when XT announced that he was going to run it back one more time. I thought heck, maybe that is all we are going to lose, then right after XT announced CWG said, something to the effect that this is why he loves Clemson because the coaches, players and fans see the value in the development whether for NFL or life after football. Then finish the statement with something like Clemson is only FBS team to not lose a single d-linemen off their first or second team then listed all the DL returns.
All that to say, I feel confident that the coaches feel confident that Davis is staying.
The best news about all this besides having the most Mature DL in FBS, but if CWG has a top 1-2 or at least top5 defense, that will help foster the beliefs of the new recruits.

last year, and when he did play he wore a harness on his shoulder that kept him limited on snaps when he did play.
He will play this year.

because he knows the overall defense should be better, especially along the DL. He had not used all of his years, he had only used three years. Plus, almost all of our DL players have stayed for four years. Shoot, even XT is now back for a fifth year.
As I said above, we should be much better on offense next year, and our chances of making the CFP are much better.
