Clemson is an absolute shell if itself.
We will not make it out if regional, and if we somehow do it will be 2 10 run rules in supers
The pitching on this roster is awful.

Considering they are missing one of their existed top bullpen arms and a possible key starter for all of the year due to injury things have gone pretty good. If Darden and Garris had been available today things could have been much different. Bakich certainly doesn't have the team where he would like, still a top 15 team in the country is pretty solid.

Not to mention that we lost 4 different freshmen pitchers, one of whom was going to be our Sunday starter going into the season, and two others looked good before getting re-injured

Sadly I think that’s just the way baseball is for pitchers. Shoulders and arms get messed up by throwing a baseball 90+ MPH consistently

Tommy John (UCL) injury is just physics paired with genetics. Genetics loads the gun and the environment pulls the trigger. Pretty simple. You coots need to stay on the dead chicken bored.

We didn’t win of course but getting there certainly meets expectations.
Backich has done a great job inheriting this program. Likely top 20 in his short tenure as a whole. Yes, we want to take the next step, but Iof he can take Michigan to the CWS, he can and will with Clemson.

That explains how a team like Coastal can out develop players and spank us . Wake up man , we had several players this year like Gaffney that came in a great hitter and this staff failed to develop him. .As far as pitching , 2 of the injured pitchers , gillen and samol came back and don’t look that good . This staff failed to develop what talent it has this year .

Some people peak earlier than others and hit their talent wall. After given the opportunities for development without improvement, the coaches can't hit or pitch for them so they just need to be managed out and better players brought in.

You kids are just ridiculous. Playing for the ACC Championship this year and winning it 2 years ago is quite an accomplishment. We have a chance for a National seed which is awesome for a school that has not been to Omaha since 2010. Oh yeah, you didn't think about that did you?

Even if Super Regional appearances is the absolute peak that Bakich will ever take (it won't be), I'd still take that over fkn Monte Lee era baseball we had to trudge through and he nearly flat lined the program entirely. Give it time. Sure this season had a lot of issues, issues I'd like to see fixed once the season is over but it's still a young team in many areas. We're in a good spot, even if this season is considered a "disappointment", it's trending upwards and consistently in the mix to make post season noise every year under Bakich now. We will get back to Omaha eventually under him.
