Opponent: TCU. Dec. 9th
Currently SportsReference.com is showing PJ Hall as leading the ACC in " Box +/- " at 16.8.
I don't follow the detailed formula at SR.com, but it's supposed to be calculated on items solely available in the traditional box score.
I do know that Live Stats reported PJ as net -0- last night against TCU. He was in and out due to foul trouble, so maybe not the best example of what he brings to the team.
Laughably, Chase Hunter's " +/- " under Live Stats was +8, 2nd highest on the team.
Hunters' stat line:
0 for 7 FG's
0 for 4 3-pt FG's
2 Rebs
3 Assts
4 TO's

not just the scoring. Does the team score more points than the opposition or less while the player is on the floor. For example if the team scores 10 points while I am on the floor, but gives up 14 points I am a -4. If the team scores 3 points while you are in, but the other team doesn't score you are a +3. For any one game or part of a game it could be rather slanted, but over the season may be relevant.

Do you know the story of the boy who cried wolf? In this case, you didn’t actually say anything negative about Brad but because you’ve done it after virtually every game with such vigor, you’ve lost credibility when you do try and post something that isn’t about that. It’s just what we’ve come to expect from you and it feels like that is nearly always the underlying theme.

It doesn't take advanced statistics to show Brownell can't Coach.
I argued against letting Chase Hunter take important three's late in the game against Alabama, what was indeed a very important win.
Hunter is a 36% career shooter from 3, and as such was hardly a reasonable bet. It's worse that he's a 5th year Point Guard.
That he made both of those shots in the last 5 minutes that night was good on him. I said as such.
But I was pilloried and defamed and attacked ad nauseam.
One idiot even stated, "Big game players make big game shots." LOFL...
Hunter is 1 for 13 from 3 ever since.
I rest my ####### case. Don't let the advanced statistics confuse you....

You need to cut it back. You are going to feel miserable when Coach Brownell goes for maybe 25+ wins, finally makes to the Dance as a 5 seed or stronger and signs a big contract extension.
Look I'm not the biggest fan of Coach Brownell and have indicated it on this site, but as long as he wins who cares how he goes about doing it.
You are going to have to admit he signs a big contract extension he will probably retire here for being at Clemson a total of 20 seasons or so. Might as well join the party.
