Always funny seeing that trombone player getting decked in the end zone and hearing the announcer.

• Put up goal posts
What does a Gamecock grad call a Clemson Tiger grad in 2 years?

The dude with "Tooth Paste" on his drum. What the heck kind of band is that? Reminds me of something you would see at a protest.

Rag tag group of "intelligent" misfits who think they can push the limits and offend all of their opponents, to be funny.

I saw them in person at the Gator Bowl. One guy had a ferret crawling around his neck. They were such a contrast to Tiger Band. Don’t get me started on the dancing tree…

UVA used to have a silly band like that years ago. I remember them coming to Clemson in the 80's. Now they have gone to a full marching band in uniform.

I feel like Boston College has an obnoxious band if I remember correctly.

of us attended.

We stayed on St. Augustine Beach, went on a dinner/gambling off-shore cruise and had a blast. Laughed throughout the Stanford band's performance, thinking, "Typical California space cadets," but it was a riot. The few Stanford folks we met were cordial, mostly a laid-back group who seemed impressed more with our accents and drinking habits. Yet, all in all we had a good time with them.

Two years later, we were back, but in much greater force, for our game against WVA...another super duper crowd of people we really enjoyed. The fact that I am a native Virginian with relatives in both Va and WV is one of the reasons I believed it was an effete, gross insult and miscalculation when the ACC failed to invite WVA during the conference's expansion. We invite VT and Pitt, the latter a longtine WVA rival, then Louisville and snubbed the Mountaineers...an act which, frankly, made me ashamed that Clemson failed to rise in their defense by reading the riot act to other members.

Yes that's what I was saying above. I remember that UVA band coming to DV and performing at the half. They would always do jokes about the Coots for the Clemson crowd.

As a former Tiger Band member in 1974, I sat next to the Stanford Band at the '86 Gator Bowl. They played well on the field and did their antics but they did not do diddley in the stands.

I've never seen a high school drum line that was that bad.
