Most of the spring game "energy" is a lot of fun but doesn't deliver much more than a good day at the park or a chance to visit downtown and get a good milkshake. Having said that, Oklahoma had 75,000 to attend the spring game start of BV era. That is impressive.

The novelty of BV being their new HC brought the crowd, don't expect those numbers next year. IMO, Venables has proven that he is one of the best Defensive Coordinators in the country, but he hasn't proven a thing as a HC where he has to over see both sides of the ball, and everything else that the HC has to control. We will see shortly if he was HC material!!!

The novelty of BV being their new HC brought the crowd, don't expect those numbers next year. IMO, Venables has proven that he is one of the best Defensive Coordinators in the country, but he hasn't proven a thing as a HC where he has to over see both sides of the ball, and everything else that the HC has to control. We will see shortly if he was HC material!!!

2024 WR target Kyle Vaka was impressed with the turnout. Said that the loyalty of the fans stood out to him too.
Needless to say, Clemson's Spring Game delivers more than a milkshake to a lot of people. But, a good milkshake from downtown ain't a bad deal either!
Good for BV. Can you imagine how hyped up he was?!!
